A start-up with the aim of developing the most empowering STEAM play universe through tech and toys has secured $4.2 million financing from gaming and entertainment funds.
Tech Will Save Us is the UK outfit aiming to fuse the power of play with the possibilities of technology. The new financing to the tune of £3million will enable the firm to scale its business and expand its product range.
The funding – secured from Initial Capital with participation from Backed VC, SaatchInvest, All bright, Unltd, Leaf VC – comes as Tech Will Save Us prepares to launch its first partnership with Disney.
The collaboration will see the development of a Marvel Avengers themed kit inviting children to help the superheroes complete secret missions. Children will learn to conquer basic electronics through story-led missions.
The Electro Hero Kit has been in development for eight months and launches on March 15, ahead of the release of Avengers: Infinity War in cinemas this April.
